Where we show figures, we say where they come from. Results from a backtest are labelled as such: they are calculated, not achieved. A backtest runs through a market whose course was already settled when the calculation was made; a live account does not know that course. We keep the two apart and mix them nowhere.
Anyone who invests in the markets can lose money, permanently and in full. Past performance is no indication of future performance. Price swings, currency movements, taxes and costs all bear on the result, and no rule protects against that.
We compile the contents with care, but we cannot warrant that they are complete, correct and current at every moment. Details may change without our updating them here. There is no entitlement to the page being available at all times.
